Betsy & Iya Jewelry Fall 2008 : Betsy & Iya Jewelry booked us to help design and shoot their advertising photos. The concept was a 'transformation,' so we collaborated to pick the right styles for the various jewelry lines, cast the right models, and bring the vision to life.

We had a great team that clicked wonderfully, so the creative energy flowed with incredible ease. Our makeup and hair stylists brought exciting looks to the table, and our models each did an amazing job of conveying their hilarious “before” looks, and their gorgeous “after” transformations. It was definitely one of the more fun ways we’ve spent an 8-hour day!

The Colors of Night

On Exhibit - 2009 Oregon State Fair : This year we've been able to explore our artistic sides more, and found time to enter our first photography competitions, the Oregon Salon of Photography and the International Exhibition of Photography, both presented by the Oregon State Fair.

Sarah entered 3 photos from her recent China trip into each competition, 2 into the color division and 1 in B/W. Ben entered 3 color and 3 b/w in the Oregon Salon of Photography, and 4 color and 4 b/w in the International Exhibition. All but one of our submitted images were accepted for display (and Ben thinks the judges are crazy for that one...), eight into the Oregon Salon and 4 into the more difficult International Exhibition. Lastly, one made honorable mention in the International Exhibition.

We look forward to sharing our work in many more competitions in the future, and encourage everyone to go to the exhibits and enjoy the many beautiful works.
